I was browsing the web the other day and had the opportunity it listen to Barack Obama speak about change. He wants to change this and change that (the exact topics are useless to discuss in the sense that we've been promised "change" for so many years on different subjects such as healthcare reform, taxation, etc.).
If anyone remembers, it was Mao Tse Tung who promised "change" to China - and "change" they got (along with a Communist/Socialist dictatorship).
The biggest question I have regarding Obama's pledge to "change" things is: What kind of "change"? Personally, if there has ever been a presidential candidate to usher in an age of Socialism in America, it's Obama. Yeah, call it "McCarthyism" if you will. America is a Republic of sovereign States. The ruse of "democracy" is a corporate/fascist facade unless someone would like to come forward and prove that America is now the Democratic Republic of the United States (i.e. a communist nation as East Germany was after WWII [Demokratish Republik und Deutschland - Democratic Republic of Germany]).
So, for this presidential election, the people have the choice between a Socialist/Communist Democrat or a fascist/war-torn Republican intent on carrying on the Bush agenda. Someone tell me this isn't a "power-grab".
