Sometimes I get some really disturbing information crossing my desk regarding laws, corporations, and other legal information of a general nature. However, this particular bit of information thouroughly disgusted me.

There is a corporation that openly offers its services to governments the world over, saying that what it offers -- methods of THOUGHT CONTOL via propaganda -- is the most powerful weapon a government can have. The number of admissions the company makes is astonishing.

The corporation openly speaks of such thing as using "a powerful psyop (psychological operations) campaign against an engaged enemy", but controlling the thought of the citizenry, to "engender support within the national community for proposed military action." Now, if governments are established by the will and consent of the people, when the government becomes corrupt, could these "services" not be used to crush any internal rebellions within any countries utilizing those "services" as well?

Here's what the company is selling to any government that wants it:

"An OpCenter is a command facility for strategic communications... These units of expertise combine to create one of the most dynamic and influential 'weapons' in the world. An OpCenter puts influence, control and power back into the hands of the government and military, giving them greater power to influence the enemy in time of conflict and enhanced access to their citizens during a crisis. For instance, an OpCenter can be designed to override all national radio and TV broadcasts, allowing the government and military to communicate with the public as the need arises."

Wouldn't it be neat if people like Adolph Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Mao Tse Tung, and Sadam Hussein, through the use of propaganda, could've better pushed "behavior compliance for homeland security issues," and "influence group behavior"?

With all the "terrorist are everywhere" BS, if there was ever a terrorist group based anywhere in the world, this England-based corporation has to be on that list. How can anyone control what the population sees, hears, and reads, and not be a terrorist organization? You can view the corporation's website here: http://www.scl.cc/home.php

I wish I was making this stuff up, but apparently George Orwell beat me to it. I guess the man initially responsible for the downfall of America was right:

“Public sentiment is everything. With public sentiment nothing can fail. Without it nothing can succeed. He who molds public opinion is greater than he who enacts laws.”
Abraham Lincoln
16th U.S. President

It almost sounds like this could fall into the catagory of sabliminal messaging and other types of thought altering projects such as hypnosis, and if that is the case the thought of it being in the hands of the government is not a very comforting thought in the least, and even if it is not in that catagory it could easily start to be if it can take over all radio and tv broadcasts. If they have the power eventually they will start to abuse it. It's all a matter of when they feel like it and find an excuse

Absolute power corrupts absolutely. If I recall right, it was LSB Leakey that stated that man is basically evil.

When we are children, most of our parents and/or the government has dictated to us what is considered to be right or wrong by the standards of the society of which we live. As 'man is basically evil', there is always going to be someone who's on a "power-trip". This is why Marxism (true Communism) will never, and can never, work.

Corporations are ficticious persons (can sue and be sued) built upon the psychology of a psychopath. As people, we are expected to be able to make righteous decisions and have moral responsibility. If a building can't make righteous decisions and have moral responsibility, then how can a corporation?

The information gathering and thought control aspects of what this company is marketing makes me cringe. It's bad enough that a government can hire a corporation for this purpose, but to think back to when Citicorp got hacked into and some 3 million customers had their personal information stolen, the idea makes my skin crawl.
